Kayaking
We will be conducting essential maintenance to our activity booking system from Wednesday 29th November to Monday 4th December, and you will be unable to book activities or spa treatments during this time. The website may show availability but it will not add to your basket and will time out. (either via our sales team or our website).
If you are staying with us before Monday 4th December, you can book activities and spa treatments by calling 01834 862400 or please visit our Guest Services team on resort. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
Kayaking is a perfect way to bring the family together in an activity that everyone can enjoy. This gentle sport is a great way to enjoy the tranquil waters of the lake as a couple or a small group. To help you during the paddle, you'll receive tuition from our friendly team of instructors who make the session safe, informative, and of course, fun!
Taking place on Bluestone's beautiful private lake, you'll be surrounded by beautiful scenery, with banks bursting with wildlife - including our family of friendly ducks, who may float by during the session.
Water activities are available in the spring, summer, and early autumn. For exact dates, please contact the Reservations Team as these are subject to change.
You can also book double kayaks for those who would like to pair up, each will have a paddle and you can help each other out! Perfect for younger children to enjoy kayaking with adult supervision.
Need to know
Clothing
Wet/dry suits are not provided for this activity, please bring your own or wear suitable clothing. Closed toe footwear required. Your clothing/footwear may get wet!
Safety
A buoyancy aid and helmet will be provided for the activity. You must wear this for the entire session, on and off land, until your instructor indicates otherwise.
Supervision policy
Children must be dropped off at activity by parent/guardian and disclaimer needs to be signed on arrival.
