It’s a Mecca for sandcastle building, splashing in the gentle waves and trying the beach activities. Tenby has three Blue Flags and plenty of facilities and places to eat and drink - plus an excellent lifeguard service.
There’s not just the beach as well - wander Tenby’s little streets filled with shops and pubs, marvel at the town’s ancient stone walls, scoff an ice cream or take a boat trip to Caldey Island.

It reaches out towards Skomer Island, and it’s one of the coast path’s ‘must sees’. Discover a castle On the way back from the coast, build in an afternoon at one of the many medieval castles that dot the landscape - harking back to a time of heroes and villains that will fire the imagination.
